How to contact a patient from TMH Suite
TMH Suite makes it easy to access your patients' contact information, so you can reach out to them via email or WhatsApp. Depending on your plan, the platform also sends automatic appointment reminders. Here’s how it works:
How to contact your patients
✉️ By email
- Log in to your TMH Suite account.
- Go to the “Patients” section.
- Find and select the patient you want to contact.
- Click on their email address to open your preferred email manager.
By WhatsApp
- In the “Patients” section, locate the patient.
- If a telephone number is registered, click on it.
- You’ll be redirected to:
- WhatsApp Web, if you're using a computer.
- The WhatsApp app, if you're on a mobile phone or tablet.
4. A chat with the patient will open, ready for you to start typing.
If the patient is not registered
- Go to the “Patients” section.
- Click on “New patient” (top right).
- Fill in the basic information details.
- Once created, you’ll be able to view their contact information in your patient list.
Tip: Double-check that the email and telephone are correctly entered to ensure seamless communication.
About appointment reminders
Currently, TMH Suite does not offer the option to customise appointment reminders (for example, editing message content or selecting alternative delivery channels). However, important communications are sent automatically to patients, depending on your communication channel and current plan:
Automatic email communications (included in all plans):
- Appointment confirmation is sent at the time of booking.
- An automatic reminder is sent before the appointment date (typically 48 hours in advance).
These email notifications are always delivered, regardless of your plan.
Automatic WhatsApp communications (available only on the Premium Plan):
- A message with appointment details is automatically sent via WhatsApp, 48 hours before the session.
⚠️ If you’re using the Free Plan or have used all available WhatsApp credits under the Premium Plan, these messages will not be delivered.
We are currently working on an alternative that will allow appointment reminders to be sent automatically via SMS.
