How to delete a patient in TMH Suite
You can now delete patients directly from your TMH Suite.
Go to Patients, select the patient you'd like to remove, and scroll to the bottom of their record. You’ll see the option Delete patient.
Which patients can be deleted?
You can delete a patient if:
- They have never had a registered appointment in TMH Suite.
- There is no clinical history or recorded activity linked to them.
This helps you correct input errors or clean up any accidentally created records.
What if the patient already has an appointment?
If a patient has had at least one past or upcoming appointment, their record cannot be deleted.
This is to maintain proper traceability and ensure compliance with clinical data regulations.
What if I just want to remove them from the list?
Now, patients can’t be hidden or removed from the listings, but good news! A future update will introduce an archive and delete feature. This will help you keep your patient database organized without losing essential clinical information.
In summary:
- You can delete patients with no registered appointments.
- You cannot delete patients with any appointments (past or future).
- Soon, you’ll be able to archive patients to improve data management and visibility.
