Is it possible to block the patient's appointment time without recording sensitive data?
TMH Suite places the utmost importance on the security and privacy of personal data, which is encrypted. To ensure the most efficient management of your schedule, the system requires a unique identifier (email) for each patient. As a result, it is NOT possible to block a patient's appointment time without first registering their sensitive data.
Considering your desire to minimise the use of personal data, we present a few alternatives for your consideration:
Important Considerations
Should you opt to schedule appointments without using the patient's contact details, kindly note the following:
- Please be advised that automatic appointment reminders will not be sent via email or WhatsApp.
- Please note that automatic links for video calls will not be sent in the event of an online consultation.
Please advise your patients to sign the Consent to Data Processing form, which authorises the use of their personal data for scheduling purposes only. This document has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR and provides a comprehensive reminder of the relevant information and access to video calls.
⚠️ Use of Generic Emails
Should you opt to use a generic email address (which does not meet the criteria set out in the GDPR), such as emailpatient1@mail.com, you will be able to block the appointment times in your diary. Please be advised that no message or reminder will be sent to the patient.
