Setting up automatic reminders via e-mail and WhatsApp

Only available in TMH Suite Premium: In the “Set up calendar” section, you can now choose whether or not to send automatic reminders via e-mail or WhatsApp.

This feature applies to:

• Appointment reminders and
• Payment reminders

Each month, up to 60 automatic WhatsApp reminders will be sent to your patients, 48 hours before their appointments, helping to improve attendance and reduce no-shows.

⚠️ Important: Even if reminders are disabled, the following e-mails will still be sent automatically:

• Appointment confirmation e-mail
• Payment request e-mail

What happens if I am on the Free Plan?

If you are on the Free Plan, reminders will not be sent via WhatsApp. However, your patients will still receive e-mail reminders to ensure they do not miss their appointment.

Furthermore, if you are on the Free Plan and the WhatsApp message is not sent, or if you have used up your credits on the Premium Plan, we are working on automatically sending an SMS to the patient as an alternative.
